Resources for Housing Developers

Are you a developer seeking to build housing in Concord? We can help get you started!

City’s Affordable Housing Fund

If you are interested in acquiring and/or rehabilitating an older multi-family rental complex in the City of Concord, and in extending or introducing an affordable housing component to the complex, the City of Concord may be able to partially subsidize the cost of the acquisition/rehabilitation.

City’s Planning Division

For information on how to get your proposed development approved and entitled, please visit the Planning Division’s webpage.

State Loans & Grants

The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) administers more than 20 programs that award loans and grants for the construction, acquisition, rehabilitation and preservation of affordable rental and ownership housing.

Inclusionary Zoning Requirements

Your development may be subject to Inclusionary Zoning Requirements. Please review the Ordinance (Municipal Code Chapter 122 - 579: Development Code, Article IV, Division 8). Please visit the City’s Planning Division’s page for additional information.
