Concord offices closed Jan. 15-18 for furlough day, holiday
City of Concord offices will be closed on Friday, Jan. 15 for an unpaid furlough day and Monday, Jan. 18 for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday.
Offices to be closed include the Civic Center complex (1950 Parkside Drive), Public Works (1455 Gasoline Alley), Engineering (2151 Salvio St.), the Concord Senior Center (2727 Parkside Circle), Centre Concord (5298 Clayton Rd.), the Police Southern District Office (1500 Monument Blvd., #17), and Police Headquarters (1350 Galindo St.). Police patrol and dispatch operations will not be affected by the closures.
Willow Pass Community Center (2748 East Olivera Rd.) will be closed except for previously scheduled facility rentals.
Concord Community Pool (3501 Cowell Road) will be closed except for lap swim hours on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, Jan. 16 - 18 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Diablo Creek Golf Course will remain open.
Additional furlough days for 2010 are March 12, April 9 and May 7.
