Concord offers mosaic art weekend workshop
Concord Community and Recreation Services will offer Leslie Mathie's "Introduction to Mosaics" two-day class on Saturday, Feb. 6, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 7 from 10 a.m. to noon. The workshop will be held at Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Road, Concord.
This fun and informative class gives the basics on mosaic art including substrate selection, adhesives choices, method choice, and grouting techniques. Students will create a mosaic art piece to take home. The class is designed for the beginner or intermediate student.
