Discount offered to Camp Concord's returning campers
Registration is now open for Camp Concord's 2010 season. The camp is operated by the City of Concord and is located at South Lake Tahoe.
Returning campers who register by March 1 for youth (8-14), pre-teen (11-14) or teen camp (14-17) receive a 10% discount on their camp fee. If they register a friend who has never attended Camp Concord, the friend also receives the discount.
Camp is open from June 26 through July 31. Youth and preteen camp sessions are one week long; teen camps are two weeks long.
A special Basketball Camp for ages 8 to 14 that blends basketball instruction with traditional outdoor camping activities is offered July 3 through 10.
Camp Concord was voted a Family Favorite in 2008 and 2009 by Bay Area Parent magazine. Opening in 1967, Camp Concord has been offering quality, affordable camping for over 40 years. Camp activities include archery, rafting, canoeing, swimming and hiking as well as campfires, games, and skits.
