Make a handmade pasta dinner in less than 30 minutes

Concord Community and Recreation Services will offer Elizabeth Seaholm's "Basic Homemade Pasta"class next week, on Tuesday, June 1, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Road. Participants will make two types of spaghetti in this basic pasta class.

Participants will learn to make pasta for scratch, using a few basic ingredients and a couple of simple techniques. The instructor demonstrates the old-world process, then the participants make their own pasta. Each will receive one-on-one personal instruction.

The class is designed for everyone, men and women alike. The class will finish with a light tasting and students will take home their ready-to-cook pasta. Participants must bring their own rolling pins to the class.
