Guitar class offered for busy adults
Adults who have always wanted to learn to play the guitar but have never found the time are invited to register for the "Just Once Guitar for Busy Adults" class offered by Concord Community and Recreation Services on Monday, April 4 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at Centre Concord, 5298 Clayton Rd.
Instructor Frank Kruzic will teach participants the basics in a single two-hour class. An easy-to-understand instruction book and DVD used in class will help participants practice at home. Kruzic also discusses some of the common mistakes people make and the hurdles that prevent them from learning the guitar. The class is for the absolute beginner and the emphasis is on fun, not technical perfection. Participants must bring an acoustic guitar to class.
Class registration fee is $45 for Concord residents and $50 for non-residents with a $29 materials fee payable to the instructor. For more information or to register, visit www.ConcordReg.org or call (925) 671-3404.
