Gas main break in Concord at Arnold Industrial Way and Peralta, roads closed
Due to a gas main break that occurred on Tuesday morning, Aug. 30 at Arnold Industrial Way and Peralta, the following streets will be closed for at least six hours:
- Peralta Street - from Solano Way to Nelson St.
- Arnold Industrial Way - from Hwy 4 to Lowe's
Nearby businesses are being evacuated as a precaution. PG&E, Concord Police Department and Public Works crews, Contra Costa Fire, and the California Highway Patrol are on the scene. The break occurred as a traffic signal was being installed.
