Iceless ice rink opens Tuesday, Dec. 13 in downtown Concord
Concord's new iceless ice rink, which opened for a preview on the weekend of Dec. 3, will be open again starting Dec. 13 through the holiday season. The rink will be open every afternoon except Dec. 25 through Jan. 2 in Todos Santos Plaza in downtown Concord. A complete schedule of ice rink hours is available on the City's website, www.cityofconcord.org, or the Todos Santos Business Association (TSBA) website, www.concordtsba.org. The $5 per session fee includes skate rental.
Todos Santos Plaza is located in downtown Concord on Willow Pass Road between Mt. Diablo and Grant streets. Free parking is available in two municipal garages with entrances on Salvio Street between Colfax and Galindo streets.
The rink is co-sponsored by TSBA and the City of Concord with support from Tesoro Golden Eagle Refinery, Concord Disposal, Plan-It Interactive, Dolan's Lumber, Bill's Chairs For Affairs, KRON TV, Comcast, KKDV Radio and the Contra Costa Times.
