Pre-sale Pavilion tickets for symphony pops on sale April 23

A Concord resident ticket pre-sale day has been set for Thursday, April 23 for the California Symphony shows coming to the Concord Pavilion this summer. Pre-sale tickets will be on sale at the Pavilion box office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 24.

California Symphony Pops Concerts return to the Pavilion after a 13-year hiatus in a new “Music and Movies” series. On July 3, a Pops at the Pavilion concert will include movie themes and standards as well as patriotic numbers under the stars. On Aug. 21, it’s a first-of-its-kind event with the symphony playing the score to the Wizard of Oz as the movie is viewed on the Pavilion’s large screens. Tickets start at $25 ($10 for students under 18).

To participate in the resident pre-sale, Concord residents must bring a utility bill and driver’s license (or other government-issued ID) with matching addresses to the box office, located at the entrance to the Pavilion at 2000 Kirker Pass Road. There is no service charge for tickets purchased at the box office.

To find out when presale tickets will be available for shows announced later in the season, call the resident hotline number is (925) 363-5701.

General sale tickets are available online at Livenation.com, Ticketmaster.com or charge by phone at 1-800-745-3000. For Pavilion information, call (925) 676-8742.
