Drop-off ballot box returns to Concord Civic Center

Concord residents will find it easier to vote in the upcoming November 8th election as the City of Concord has once again partnered with the Contra Costa Elections Office to provide a convenient “CoCo Vote-N-Go” drop off location at the Civic Center, 1950 Parkside Drive, Wing A, available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The box will remain on site through Election Day.

"We are excited to work with local partners to be able to offer voters this opportunity to drop of their ballots in a safe and secure fashion," said Joe Canciamilla, Contra Costa Registrar of Voters. "We urge voters to take advantage of this service."

"The postage for vote-by-mail envelopes this election is 68 cents; however, the drop-off box service eliminates the need for a stamp," said Joelle Fockler, Concord City Clerk. "In addition, City staff members will have the popular ‘I Voted’ stickers available for those who drop off their ballots."

Mailed ballots must be postmarked on or before November 8th.

In addition to the Concord site, ballots may also be dropped off between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. at the Contra Costa Elections Office in Martinez, located at 555 Escobar Street, or at any polling place on Election Day.
