Caution: Pothole repair on Bailey Road December 7, 8

Extensive pothole repair work on Bailey Road is scheduled to begin Wednesday, Dec. 7 and is targeted for completion Thursday, Dec. 8. Work will be conducted on the segment of Bailey Road beginning about a half mile north of Myrtle Drive, extending north to the City limits. Construction access to this segment of roadway is limited due to its winding curvature and narrow shoulders. Expect traffic delay.

In order to have the work completed in two days, expanded working hours will be from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Notification signage has been posted on Bailey Road alerting the public of the pending construction. The project will rehabilitate 10,000 square feet of failed asphalt on Bailey Road.

Please drive with caution near all road projects. Other active, on-going paving projects include:

  1. Oak Grove Road (between Monument Blvd and Whitman Road)
  2. Cowell Road (between Treat Blvd. and North Larwin Ave)
  3. Ayers Road (between Ygnacio Valley Road and Clayton Road)
