Free Healthy Lifestyle Expo at Concord Senior Center Feb. 24

Promoting good health awareness and encouraging participants to assume responsibility for their own health are the goals of the Age Strong, Live Long Healthy Lifestyle Expo, a free one-day event set for Friday, Feb. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Concord Senior Center, 2727 Parkside Circle.

The Concord Commission on Aging and Senior Center staff invite everyone to this free event. The expo will provide information about services, resources and products that benefit older adults, their families and caregivers. A free tote bag will be distributed to the first 500 attendees. Over 40 vendors and service providers will offer valuable information to seniors and family members.

Presentations include: The Basics - Memory Loss, Dementia, and Alzheimer’s Disease; Maximize Your Memory - Tips and Strategies; and Benefits of Juicing. Raffle prizes will be awarded after each presentation.

The following screenings will be available: heel scan, cholesterol, blood pressure, memory, medication review, massage and the Mobile Veteran’s Center.
