Concord Community Pool Makes a Splash on June 11

The Concord Community Pool, at 3501 Cowell Rd., will reopen on Monday, June 11, after being closed since December for replacement of the pool deck. The pool is one of the City's most popular facilities, serving approximately 124,000 swimmers each year. Beginning with lap swim at 6:00 a.m., the pool will be offering a full array of summer programs, including learn-to-swim classes, recreational swimming, and water exercise.

To thank customers for their patience and understanding during the construction, the City will offer FREE lap swim and recreational swimming on Saturday, June 16. Patrons who pass the required swim test can even play on the inflatable pool toys for free. Lap swim hours on Saturday are 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and Rec swim with inflatable fun begins at 12:30 p.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m.
