Building Division - Residential Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic Permitting

Application Instructions

An applicant for a Residential Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic (PV) permit may apply to the City for streamlined permitting by submitting one of four preconfigured applications of the system to be installed:

Applicant must also fill out the Solar-Photovoltaic Notification Form, which is used to notify Contra Costa County Fire Protection District
Payment methods accepted by the City of Concord include the following: Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) and in person by cash, check or credit card. Please submit a completed Credit Card Authorization Form if you would like to pay by credit card.

Once an application for Solar PV has been approved, the permit may be picked up at this address.
