School Resource Officers
- Concord police officers, working on school campuses as School Resource Officers, play an important part in the City's efforts to prevent and effectively address youth violence.
- Uniformed officers are assigned to each of the four public high schools and feeder middle schools.
- The officer serves as a counselor, role model and law enforcer, and also patrols the immediate neighborhood and business areas to curtail youth related problems.
- In addition, School Resource Officers are available to provide classroom presentations on youth safety issues.
